So Moz took a deeper look into this issue. They wanted to understand how some marketers are addressing this dilemma. They went about this through a survey of more than 1,400 local marketers. And these were people who work either in-house for businesses or for agencies specific to localization.
Some of their findings may come as a surprise. But, for the most part, they found that for some, proximity to the searcher is the top factor determining ranking in Google’s Local Pack.
