Global ad spending forecasts have been released recently. Zenith [link], MAGNA [pdf] and Dentsu Aegis Network [pdf], released their projections earlier this week. And as might be expected, there are some divergence of opinion. However, the all do agree on one major point, there will be a slowdown in ad spending this year.
Where The Smart Money is Going
One additional point of a consensus agreement between the three is that digital is finally set to overtake TV this year. It’s been threatening to happen for quite some time. But this seems to be the year for it to happen. Zenith finally sees internet advertising overtaking traditional TV. When exactly that will happen is still up to debate.
